Between February 3rd and February 5th, 2026, CURA Lab was delighted to host Dr. Pavel Ichim, Lecturer at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (UAIC), Romania.
As prominent members of the EC2U Alliance (European Campus of City-Universities), our two institutions share a commitment to cross-border academic excellence and promote sustainable cities and communities. Dr. Ichim’s visit served as a vital touchpoint for deepening the relationship between our research groups and identifying strategic overlaps in our scientific agendas.
Throughout the three-day visit, Dr. Ichim engaged with our team in a series of collaborative sessions focused on urban climatology. These discussions aimed to lay the groundwork for future joint research projects, co-authored publications, and potential student mobility initiatives within the EC2U framework.
We are excited about the prospects this visit has opened up and look forward to a long and productive partnership with our colleagues in Iași.
