Yesterday, October 29th, marked the official launch of CURA Lab – Climate and Urban Resilience in Architectural Engineering, an ADAI initiative hosted at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Coimbra.
Founded and led by Eugénio Rodrigues, the Lab brings together researchers, students, and collaborators to explore how architectural engineering can address the pressing challenges of climate adaptation and urban resilience.
The launch event presented the Lab’s vision, mission, and research areas, while also showcasing ongoing projects, research highlights, advisory panel members, and collaborations. It was an inspiring occasion that reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary work within the Lab’s growing research network.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us for their presence, enthusiasm, and thoughtful contributions to this important milestone.
Stay tuned for more updates and future events!
